I worked in state-governed programs addressing substance abuse, violence, suicide prevention, and more. I even managed three outpatient centers simultaneously and lived among those battling addiction to gain a deeper understanding of their struggles. Despite the tireless efforts and countless hours spent in counseling, the outcomes were often heartbreaking—clients seemed trapped in a vicious cycle, losing everything— only to return to the same destructive patterns.
In one rehabilitation center, I apprenticed and collaborated with a renowned psychologist specializing in Pattern Therapy. While the therapy accurately identified clients’ destructive behaviors, it yielded no lasting change. Witnessing this constant cycle of despair, I realized that true transformation could not be achieved through conventional methods alone.
During my internship as a counselor, I gained insight and knowledge by working with faith-based organizations, that allowed me to compare their approaches and outcomes with those of other entities. It was here that I witnessed the miraculous power of Jesus Christ to truly set people free from addiction and other forms of torment. These individuals not only broke free from their past but stayed free, with their lives transformed both in the present and for eternity. Families were reunited, jobs restored, and hope rekindled. These were the true success stories—lives changed by the power of Jesus Christ and for eternity.

My Story
Drug addiction has deeply impacted my family, friends, and my own life. My cousin, addicted to hard drugs since age 13, spent his life in and out of prison, fathered seven children out of wedlock, and became a Satanist and gang member. Despite being on his deathbed at age 51, ravaged by hepatitis C, he refused any help or change, taking his hard heart with him to eternity. Watching him waste away was devastating.
Another family member made headlines for involvement in a meth lab, domestic violence, and illegal gun possession.
In contrast, I was freed from alcohol at age 23, through the power of the Lord. For 33 years, I’ve remained sober without rehab, AA meetings, or temptations—a true success story — I give all the glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.
My passion is to help others experience the same freedom. This drive has led me to create a faith-based program for those who genuinely desire to break free from the chains of addiction.
My Biography
Stephanie has extensive experience in substance dependency counseling, beginning her career with the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA) in 2011. Her professional journey spans a variety of settings, including state-approved treatment centers, faith-based outpatient facilities, and methadone clinics. In addition to her work with substance dependency, Stephanie has applied her expertise to counseling individuals with sex offenses, DUI offenses, experiences of violence, and those in need of suicide prevention support. Her diverse background reflects a deep commitment to addressing a wide range of client needs with compassion and expertise.
Since becoming a certified Christian counselor in 2012, Stephanie has pursued her passion for seeing clients liberated and maintaining their freedom through faith-based counseling, which has shown significant long-term success and freedom. Her multifaceted background also includes certification as a financial counselor through Dave Ramsey’s Peace University in 2010; specializing in debt reduction. With over 30 years of experience in the medical profession and active ministry involvement, Stephanie possesses a broad range of skills that set her apart.
Driven by a profound commitment to setting captives free, Stephanie founded Strong Tower Coaching to empower individuals towards lifelong transformation.
